Project Empower 2022 consists of  – “Damian Browne (explorer, peak performance athlete and former professional rugby player, hailing from Galway) and Fergus Farrell (former rugby player, a self-employed businessman and recent recoveree from a traumatic spinal injury which took Fergus a year to learn to walk again against all the odds) will complete an unsupported row across the Atlantic from New York City to Galway.  It will take Damian and Fergus a total 1.5 million oar strokes to cross the 3,000 nautical miles as part of this World Record Breaking attempt!” – https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/projectempower2022
