Green Initiative – Conker the Planet

In late 2020 , our Managing Director Anthony picked conkers as an activity with his daughter ( 1.5 years old) . Soon it was established that these seeds could become great big horse chest nut trees and so the “Conker the Planet” project was born. This project while in its infancy is simple: to pick , plant and grow horse chest nut trees. There are currently 86 horse chestnut trees planted and growing and another 86+ to be picked this Autumn. The staff in Pale Blue Dot® Recruitment have agreed to adopt some of these young trees until the right home can be found. Watch this space for more updates!!!

Pale Blue Dot® Recruitment go Purple for Cope Galway

On Friday 23rd April 2021, the team in  Pale Blue Dot® Recruitment went purple to help raise awareness and funds for Cope Galway’s Domestic Abuse Services.
Go Purple Day is a joint initiative between An Garda Síochána and domestic abuse services nationwide, to raise awareness about domestic abuse and support local domestic abuse services.

Individuals, schools, groups, and businesses  wear something purple, bake purple, die their hair purple, light their buildings in purple or any other way they prefer to go purple.

We did what we could to find the closest colour and over 200 euro in the process

Your donation will help many get support and refuge when they need it #DonateToday – https://bit.ly/3tKQfZ9

Pale Blue Dot® Recruitment moving to 9/78 Schedule

Time Table w/ Friday Off!

Pale Blue Dot® Recruitment will be moving to a “9/78 Schedule” from June 2021. This means each member of staff will enjoy second Friday off. The new working hours will enable more scheduled time off for our dedicated team so that many a long week end can be had over the summer without taking holidays. The new schedule will not impact operational hours as this arrangement has been developed so that a number of employees will always be present every Friday. This change is another measure taken by the organisation as part of their overall employee wellness program.
